The regeneration and futureproofing of the 1970’s Old Mutual Centre retail building on the prominent corner of Adderley and Strand Streets in the Cape Town CBD.

Part demolition of two existing top floors to release existing vertical capacity for a future phase 2 above, full rework of remaining three retail floors including break-outs, infills, strengthening and futureproofing elements for 7 to 10 floor phase 2, including new seismic resisting cores and column strengthening.
